Mitchel Wu Toy Photography Shanghai Exhibitions

So appreciative of the Wonderfactory team for putting together TWO amazing, simultaneous toy photography exhibitions in Shanghai, China:

• The Wonderfactory Play>Create! An amazing thematic exhibition in one of Shanghai's premier shopping malls, the HKRI Taikoo Hui Mall. If you're in the area it is running from now through November 4, 2018.

• The Stan Lee Comic Universe - the first-ever Stan Lee convention held outside of the US, a gathering of more than 200 stakeholders in the toy, anime and creative industries. This took place over the past few days at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

The Wonderfactory is the only collective of its kind, curating and sharing the best toy photography from around the world as the emerging form of Pop Art to modern society. I'm very proud to be represented by the Wonderfactory throughout Asia. The following photos from both exhibitions are provided by Wonderfactory's uber-leaders Kenny Lim and Andrew Soh, as well as the rest of the incredible Wonderfactory team on the ground in Shanghai. I may have mixed some of the two exhibit photos together, but it's all just one giant ball-of-amazing anyways! Big thanks once again to the team at Wonderfactory! Enjoy, and thanks for visiting!

I have 6 images exhibited throughout both shows. Toy Photographers don't often see their work framed and on exhibit like this, so it was definitely a treat to see.

The Play>Create! exhibit at the beautiful HKRI Taikoo Hui Mall commanded some serious real estate. Such a huge, exciting exhibition with a lot of fun interactive features and toy history for visitors!

Wonderfactory's Andrew Soh presents the Wonderfactory artists. I'm truly honored to be included among such a talented group of artists.

Artist panels were presented by region - the Americas, Europe and Asia. Toy photography is truly a global passion and phenomenon.
